Awena has been in business since 2000. How do we create POSM that really works on the shelf?

Our POSM are developed with the category’s specifics and the brand’s competitive advantage in mind. We combine shopper marketing strategy (understanding how a customer behaves at the shelf) with a practical production approach. We eliminate the gap between creative design and physical execution through rapid prototyping and quality control at every stage.

From prototype to implementation: a process that eliminates errors

We focus on modularity, easy assembly and optimised materials — this shortens implementation timelines and reduces the cost of a network-wide rollout. Our own production facilities guarantee consistency across multiple locations, without manual fixes on site. How do we combine emotions with hard KPIs?

We treat an event as a strategic communication tool, not a one-off spectacle. Every format is built around specific metrics — engagement, conversion, lead quality or content value for use after the event. We work end-to-end: set design, AV production, directing, logistics, event apps, streaming and phygital activations (blending physical experience with a digital layer).

End-to-end process: from idea to execution

Retail design that increases conversion and organises the customer experience

We create conversion-driven retail design: from shopper marketing strategy, through space planning and visual merchandising, to lighting and a complete rollout system for the entire network.

How do we design retail spaces for results?

We design store environments that guide customers intuitively and support purchasing decisions. Zoning, traffic flow, lighting, communication — everything is rooted in strategy, category data and the realities of each location. We work iteratively: mock-ups, prototypes, planogram tests. Design decisions are based on facts, not boardroom opinions.

Tests, prototypes and implementation systems — a method that works across networks

We safeguard the entire rollout: manuals, installation guides, scalable variants for different store formats and supervision of the network-wide rollout. We ensure the store looks excellent not only on opening day, but also after many months of intensive use. Every store, regardless of size and location, implements the design uniformly. Manuals are prepared so that the installation crew does not have to make design decisions on the spot — and that eliminates the most common source of discrepancy between visualisation and reality.

CHALLENGE:

Low brand visibility in hypermarkets and the need to stand out during key selling periods.

SOLUTION:

Designing a dedicated display with a bold design consistent with the brand identity, seasonal modules and storytelling rooted in the product’s DNA. The structure was optimised for easy assembly by store staff.

PROCESS:

Audit of competitor displays, development of creative concept variants, prototyping and testing in selected locations, production with material optimisation, distribution to the network with assembly instructions, and monitoring of display compliance.

RESULT:

A 20–30% increase in sales of the featured products during the campaign period. Improved brand recognition at the point of sale and positive feedback from both consumers and retail partners.

CHALLENGE:

A premium brand needed an event that would be simultaneously spectacular and operationally flawless. 200 m² to manage — the largest stand at the trade fair and in the client’s history. Full responsibility: from brief to the last day of the event.

SOLUTION:

Visualisation, execution, installation — everything in-house. Four assembly crews, three days of installation. Lighting, sound, catering — full coordination.

RESULT:

The most visited stand at the fair. Sales results exceeding the client’s targets.

LANCÔME
ZONE IN
PERFUMERY
KAUBAMAJA - TALLINN

CHALLENGE:

Redesigning the existing Lancôme zone in the Kaubamaja perfumery in line with the brand’s current visual identity, without disrupting the rest of the store’s operations.

SOLUTION:

Removal of outdated visual elements and furniture, introduction of new creative executions and fixtures aligned with the brand’s global guidelines.

PROCESS:

Development of a new space concept, prototype fixtures and colour palette, brand-side approval, and implementation within the designated time window.

RESULT:

A new zone fully aligned with the current visual DNA of Lancôme. Elevated prestige of the zone and increased product rotation within the new display.

Retail design works when all elements — furniture, lighting, creative, materials — form a single organism. Any friction at the detail level is picked up subconsciously by the customer.

- WESTFIELD ARKADIA

CHALLENGE:

Creating a replica of a New York subway car and platform, inside which individual brand activations would take place — in a way consistent with the brand’s creative concept.

SOLUTION:

Building a 1:1 scale subway car and platform with full set design and equipment enabling activations to run inside the zone.

PROCESS:

Development of technical drawings and visualisations through to the execution stage, production of structural elements, transport, on-site assembly and operation throughout the event.

RESULT:

Enormous interest in the zone itself and in the activations held inside. Extensive social media coverage, queues of attendees eager to experience the activation inside the car — the zone became one of the most photographed features of the event.
